Privacy Policy — AlarmQuest

AlarmQuest ("the app") is a challenge alarm clock: it keeps ringing until you complete a challenge (math, memory, typing, shaking, scanning a QR code or barcode, or exercise). It is published by ANSKAITISGROUP S.L.

Data collection

AlarmQuest collects no personal data. It has no account system, no analytics, no advertising SDK, and no internet permission. The app cannot send data anywhere because it has no network access at all.

Camera use

Two optional challenges use the camera, and only while that challenge is on screen:

• QR code / barcode: when you save a code during setup, and when you scan it to dismiss an alarm. Frames are processed on your device to read the code.
• Exercise: while you do push-ups, sit-ups or burpees to dismiss an alarm. Frames are processed on your device by a pose-detection model that counts your repetitions.

Camera frames are never stored, recorded or transmitted, and no image of you leaves your device.

On-device data

The following data is stored only on your device and never leaves it:

• Your alarms, their settings, and challenge configuration
• The QR/barcode code you choose to save for a challenge
• App preferences

You can remove all of this data at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.

Purchases

AlarmQuest Pro is an optional one-time purchase made through Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play under Google's own privacy policy; AlarmQuest never sees your payment details. The app only asks Google Play whether this Google account owns the Pro unlock, and remembers the answer on your device.

Permissions

AlarmQuest uses only the permissions required for an alarm clock: exact alarms, full-screen alarm display, notifications, vibration, and the camera (for the optional QR-code and Exercise challenges). None of these grant access to your personal content, and no data is collected through them.

Children's privacy

The app does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new revision date.
