Privacy Policy — Lockout
Last updated: 9 August 2026
Lockout ("the app") is a phone-addiction blocker, published by ANSKAITISGROUP S.L.
Data collection
Lockout collects no personal data. It has no account system, no analytics, no advertising SDK, and no internet permission. The app cannot send any data anywhere.
On-device data
The following data is stored only on your device and never leaves it:
- The apps and app groups you create and block
- Timed blocks and TOTAL LOCK sessions you start
- Screen time statistics derived from Android's usage access
You can remove all of this data at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.
Accessibility service
Lockout uses Android's accessibility service for a single purpose: to detect when a blocked app comes to the foreground, so that Lockout can enforce the block and keep you out of the app until the timer ends. The service reads no content, transmits nothing, and is not used for any other purpose.
Usage access
Lockout requests Android's "Usage access" permission solely to display your screen time (today and last 7 days) inside the app. Statistics are computed on your device.
Children's privacy
Lockout does not collect any data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL.
